BALANCED Congratulates SMU Guildhall on their 20th Anniversary
BALANCED extends heartfelt congratulations to SMU Guildhall on reaching the significant milestone of its 20th anniversary. This celebration holds particular significance for BALANCED, as our firm boasts a longstanding and collaborative history with Guildhall. Notably, a substantial number of our employees are Guildhall alumni, reflecting the program’s prowess in cultivating industry-ready professionals.
Over the years, BALANCED has fostered a close working relationship with Guildhall through various collaborative projects and partnerships. During her address, SMU Provost Elizabeth G. Loboa, PhD, highlighted the societal impact of SMU Guildhall’s work, emphasizing projects such as drug discovery in games, creating medical AI, and using games to combat human trafficking, led by BALANCED’s own Corey Clark, Ph.D.
The Guildhall’s seven-year partnership with BALANCED Media | Technology, under Dr. Clark’s leadership has given rise to many of these great initiatives with more to come.
Having witnessed the impactful contributions and outcomes to these initiatives and the leadership of their graduates in the company, BALANCED remains enthusiastic about the program’s future endeavors. As Guildhall embarks on its next 20 years, BALANCED eagerly anticipates witnessing the continued growth and innovation that will shape the landscape of game development for years to come.
