This partnership is set to transform the way guests interact with the golfing experience, utilizing advanced technology to enhance engagement and enjoyment.

During the podcast “Good to Know Shreveport-Bossier,” hosted by Paul Reiser and Jeff Beimfohr, Dudley delved into the innovative aspects of this collaboration. A notable aspect of Dudley’s vision for Chasing Aces is the integration of technology to enhance both customer experience and contribute to research efforts. By partnering with BALANCED Media Technology, Dudley aims to leverage radar-based tracking and blockchain integration to collect and analyze data generated by patrons engaging in various activities at the complex. Dudley noted, “They’re leveraging the data that we’re going to create, allowing them to compute it for medical research.” Through this collaboration, BALANCED and Chasing Aces are pioneering a unique approach to both customer engagement and scientific discovery, which will come to fruition in the coming year.

BALANCED, in collaboration with Nicholls State University (NiSU), recently convened in a symposium with 48 stakeholders to showcase the implementation of HEWMEN technology. The symposium underscored the ongoing partnership between BALANCED and NiSU, particularly emphasizing the development of the Data Refinery—a centralized repository of shared data aimed at benefiting industry and government at regional, state, and national levels. During discussions, BALANCED presented its vision for the Data Refinery to Laci Melancon, the newly appointed Executive Director of the NiSU Coastal Center, and received her full support, indicating a shared alignment of objectives.

The success of BALANCED’s University Hub Model, with NiSU serving as its inaugural hub, was highlighted as a pivotal factor in fostering collaboration between academia and regional small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This strategic partnership not only fosters a robust customer base for BALANCED but also delivers mutual advantages to SMEs and the university. Moreover, BALANCED is actively pursuing opportunities to integrate more university hubs into its University Hub Model, with aspirations to extend its reach beyond academia, recognizing that the University Hub Model represents just one avenue through which HEWMEN technology can cultivate its customer base.

BALANCED Partner, Nicholls State, Breaks Ground on Collaborative Coastal Center

Nicholls State University conducted a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the commencement of construction on the Coastal Center at Nicholls State University. The Coastal Center is collaborating with BALANCED, utilizing their HEWMEN^® Technology to address global coastal challenges and access previously unavailable data.

In attendance at the event, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, Senator Bret Allain, and Lafourche Parish President Archie Chaisson highlighted the importance of investing in higher education projects such as the Coastal Center, to which the state contributed $45 million.

At the ceremony coinciding with Nicholls State University’s 75th anniversary, Nicholls State President Jay Clune emphasized the commitment to strengthening the university’s foundation for Louisiana’s prosperous future.

CEO Robert Atkins, of BALANCED Media | Technology, recently made a homecoming to Southwood High School, his alma mater. During his visit, he shared his inspiring journey and motivated students to overcome challenges and strive for success.

In collaboration with BRF’s Digital Media Institute (DMI), BALANCED Media | Technology unveiled an innovative partnership that will offer a free after school program focused on computer animation and modeling. This initiative equips students with vital skills for their future endeavors.

This is all possible due to the Carolyn W. and Charles T. Beaird Family Foundation for their generous support, making the launch of this transformative program possible. Starting at Southwood High School, the program aims to expand to other local high schools, magnifying its impact across the community.

Through collaborations like these, BALANCED Media | Technology aims to cultivate the next generation of digital media and technology professionals, fostering a brighter future for all.

BALANCED Receives Award from Extra Life

BALANCED Media | Technology recently received Extra Life’s Collaboration award for the part BALANCED played in organizing and putting on the Play it Forward Esports Tournament benefiting Children’s Health, a Miracle Network hospital. BALANCED coder and resident game streamer Cameron Ferguson was called out specifically for his role in making this event a success.

Balanced Media Technology + Complexity Gaming benefiting Children’s Health in Dallas, TX

This all began with a dream that Balanced Media Technology had to host an Extra Life event to help kids in North Texas. The Play it Forward Esports Tournament became a reality on May 18th, 2019. The event was streamed live from the Seacrest Studios at Children’s Health in Dallas. Two-time Madden Champion, Drini Gjoka (who plays for Complexity) and NFL Hall of Famer, Michael Irvin, played Madden NFL ‘19 with several Children’s Health patients. Throughout the event, viewers were also able to play a game developed by Balanced Media called “The Omega Cluster.” This game allows a player to interact with data clustering problem related to drug-resistant cancer research being conducted at Southern Methodist University.
