As a Producer at Activision, Jay oversaw production of a variety of high profile titles. Jay oversaw games based on major licensed properties from Marvel and managed relationships with entertainment entities such as 20th Century Fox. Jay’s big picture strategic thinking, while maintaining attention to the details, allowed Jay to excel at completing games with high quality, on time, and on budget.
Jay met Robert Atkins and other members of Ritual Entertainment while overseeing Marvel property games being created for Activision at another Dallas-based studio. Jay eventually joined Ritual as Studio Producer to assist in organizing production at the fast-growing studio. Jay oversaw complex production on AAA titles based on major properties including Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and Valve’s Counterstrike franchises.
Jay later served as Studio Producer for United Developers, which included MacPlay and MumboJumbo. There, Jay oversaw internal and external production of titles for the casual games division, managed 3rd party relationships, platform conversions, the quality assurance department, and packaging titles for retail distribution.
