Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will work with team leaders, scientists, and software engineers to develop the strategic initiatives, scopes, goals, and timelines of a product and maintain them over the course of its lifetime. They will develop prospective customers by developing insights into their business needs and pain points and connect those to solutions offered by our company. They will also develop and compose compelling, clear, and concise customer proposals that offer solutions based on customer needs. Additionally, they will serve as the liaison to our customers to provide a strong layer of communication and help foster our ongoing relationships with them.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing project budgets.
- Coordinating with other departments.
- Reporting on project progress.
- Ensuring customer fit of developed solutions.
- Creating reports for our partner foundation.
- Meeting with customers and partners in the region.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field such as business, finance, or marketing.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
- 5 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Certifications like PMP can be an advantage.
- Experience in product development and talent acquisition.

Nice to Have
In addition to these, having a background in software engineering, computer science, or other technical fields can be beneficial. Also, understanding how to apply project management techniques specifically to data science can be a valuable skill. Lastly, familiarity with metrics and how to incorporate them into project strategy is important. Strong writing skills with the ability to significantly contribute to customer proposals is also highly beneficial.
